About the editor
Yoel Castaño Peón is the editor behind Callejear, an independent street-directory project. Based in Barcelona, Spain, he is responsible for the editorial approach of Callejear South Africa and also edits Callejear.fr.
Editorial responsibility
The editor oversees the directory’s methodology, source selection and correction process. Street descriptions are assembled from recorded geographic facts. Authorship does not mean that every street has been visited or individually surveyed.
Data and independence
The South African directory uses recorded OpenStreetMap data and a Natural Earth country overview. Source contributors retain their attribution and licence rights. There are no paid placements, advertising scripts or third-party analytics in this release.
